Notes on Screenings of Entries at the 21st GISFF
Thank you very much for your keen interest in the GISFF and for submitting your treasured films!
As you’ve already noticed on our rules & regulation, GwangHwaMun International Short Film Festival screens all submitted films virtually at MovieBloc(www.moviebloc.com), while our preliminary jury members review the entries. As a result of review by the preliminary jury, members, the GISFF official selections for the international competition section will be determined.
From October 6 to November 15, all the entries are screened virtually at MovieBloc for an admission fee, and submitters take 70% of the viewing revenue.
Regretfully, the entries that are not selected for finalists can be converted to general contents at MovieBloc to screen for international audiences from December 16. When the submitters disagree with it, the submitters can “pause” screenings from December 16, 11:00(KST)l. However, please be aware that during the period (October 6 -November 15) for reviewing of the preliminary jury, the entries cannot be paused and/or withdrawn.
Official selections will be announced on November 16, 2022, at the GISFF website as well as Moviebloc, and the selected films will be notified individually to the submitters.
